'pita'-varna dhari' tabe kaila pravartana
prema-bhakti dila loke lana bhakta-gana
SYNONYMS
pita-varna dhari' -- assuming the color yellow; tabe -- thereafter; kaila pravartana -- introduced the sankirtana movement; prema-bhakti dila -- He distributed love of Krishna; loke -- to the people in general; lana bhakta-gana -- accompanied by His devotees.
TRANSLATION
"In the Age of Kali, Lord Krishna assumes a golden color and, accompanied by His personal devotees, introduces hari-nama-sankirtana, the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra. By this process He delivers love for Krishna to the general populace.
