sabe kahe, -- prabhu tanre kabhu na milibe
ami-saba kahi yadi, duhkha se manibe
SYNONYMS
sabe kahe -- everyone said; prabhu -- Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; tanre -- unto him; kabhu -- at any time; na -- not; milibe -- would see; ami-saba -- all of us; kahi -- say; yadi -- if; duhkha -- unhappiness; se -- Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; manibe -- will feel.
TRANSLATION
The devotees gave their opinion and said, "The Lord will never meet the King, and if we requested Him to do so, the Lord would surely feel very unhappy."
