yāńhāra kripāte mlecchera haya krishna-bhakti
ke kahite pāre tāńra vaishnavatā-śakti?
SYNONYMS
yāńhāra — whose; kripāte — by mercy; mlecchera — of mlecchas; haya — is; krishna-bhakti — devotional service to Krishna; ke — who; kahite pāre — can describe; tāńra — His; vaishnavatā-śakti — power of Vaishnavism.
TRANSLATION
"He is such a great personality that by His mercy He can convert even the meat-eaters [mlecchas] to the devotional service of Krishna. Who, therefore, can estimate the power of His Vaishnavism?
PURPORT
It is extremely difficult to convert a mleccha, or meat-eater, into a devotee of Lord Krishna. Therefore anyone who can do so is situated on the highest level of Vaishnavism.
