SYNONYMS
rāmānandera — of Rāmānanda Rāya; krishna-kathā — talks of Lord Krishna; svarūpera gāna — the songs of Svarūpa Dāmodara; viraha-vedanāya — at the time of pangs of separation; prabhura — of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; rākhaye — keep; parāna — the life.
TRANSLATION
When the Lord acutely felt pangs of separation from Krishna, only Śrī Rāmānanda Rāya's talks about Krishna and the sweet songs of Svarūpa Dāmodara kept Him alive.
