taiche svarupa-gosani rakhe mahaprabhura prana
SYNONYMS
purve -- previously; yaiche -- just as; radhara -- of Srimati Radharani; lalita -- Her companion named Lalita; sahaya-pradhana -- the best helper; taiche -- similarly; svarupa-gosani -- Svarupa Damodara Gosvami; rakhe -- keeps; mahaprabhura prana -- the life of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
TRANSLATION
Previously, when Srimati Radharani felt the pangs of separation from Krsna, Her constant companion Lalita kept Her alive by helping Her in many ways. Similarly, when Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu felt Radharani's emotions, Svarupa Damodara Gosvami helped Him maintain His life.
