jharikhanda-vanapathe aila ekela caliya
kabhu upavasa, kabhu carvana kariya
SYNONYMS
jharikhanda -- known as Jharikhanda; vana-pathe -- through the path of the forest of central India; aila -- came; ekela -- alone; caliya -- walking; kabhu -- sometimes; upavasa -- fasting; kabhu -- sometimes; carvana kariya -- chewing.
TRANSLATION
Sanatana Gosvami walked alone on the path through the Jharikhanda forest in central India. Sometimes he fasted, and sometimes he would eat.
