bāra bāra nishedha kare brāhmana-kumāre
prabhure nā dekhile sei rahite nā pāre
SYNONYMS
bāra bāra — again and again; nishedha kare — forbids; brāhmana-kumāre — the son of the brāhmana; prabhure — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; nā dekhile — without seeing; sei — that boy; rahite nā pāre — could not stay.
TRANSLATION
Dāmodara Pandita again and again forbade the son of the brāhmana to visit the Lord, but the boy could not bear staying home and not seeing Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
