tāńra thāñi śesha-pātra layena māgiyā

kāhāń pāya, tabe rahe lukāñā

SYNONYMS

tāńra thāñi — from them; śesha-pātra — plates of remnants; layena — takes; māgiyā — begging; kāhāń — where; pāya — does not get; tabe — then; rahe — remains; lukāñā — hiding.

TRANSLATION

He would beg remnants of food from such Vaishnavas, and if he did not receive any, he would hide.
