svarūpa, rāmānanda, — ei dui-jana lańā
vilāpa karena duńhāra kanthete dhariyā
SYNONYMS
svarūpa — Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī; rāmānanda — Rāmānanda Rāya; ei dui-jana — these two personalities; lańā — with; vilāpa karena — laments; duńhāra — of both; kanthete — the necks; dhariyā — holding.
TRANSLATION
That night, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was attended by Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī and Rāmānanda Rāya. Keeping His hands around their necks, the Lord began to lament.
