krishna mathurāya gele, gopīra ye daśā haila
krishna-vicchede prabhura se daśā upajila
SYNONYMS
krishna mathurāya gele — when Lord Krishna departed for Mathurā; gopīra — of the gopīs; ye daśā — which condition; haila — was; krishna-vicchede — by separation from Krishna; prabhura — of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; se daśā — that situation; upajila — happened.
TRANSLATION
When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu felt separation from Krishna, His condition exactly corresponded to that of the gopīs in Vrindāvana after Krishna's departure for Mathurā.
