dekhi' saba bhakta-gana mahā-duhkha pāya
sahite nāre jagadānanda, srijilā upāya
SYNONYMS
dekhi' — seeing; saba bhakta-gana — all the devotees; mahā-duhkha — great unhappiness; pāya — get; sahite — to tolerate; nāre — was unable; jagadānanda — Jagadānanda Pandita; srijilā upāya — devised a means.
TRANSLATION
All the devotees felt very unhappy to see Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu in pain. Indeed, they could not tolerate it. Then Jagadānanda Pandita devised a remedy.
